Terms of use and advertising principles

1. Service description and legal status

LuottoBotti (luottobotti.fi) is an advertising service that displays current advertising offers from lenders.

LuottoBotti is not a credit institution and not a financial intermediary. We do not grant credit, we do not process or forward loan applications, and we do not make credit decisions. We do not give personalised financial advice or recommendations, and we do not take part in preparing or concluding credit agreements. We do not charge users or lenders a commission on any agreement.

The service operates solely as a digital advertising platform where lenders showcase their products to consumers. All offers presented on the site are advertisements.

Site operator. Luottobotti.fi is operated by the Estonian company 123laen OÜ. The company is not a lender and not a credit intermediary: it does not grant credit, does not broker credit and is not a party to any credit agreement. Its only role is to run and maintain this advertising platform. Contact the operator at info@luottobotti.fi.

2. Nature and labelling of advertisements

All credit offers displayed on the website and in the chatbot are advertisements and are marked with the label “Ad”. Links leading to lenders carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener".

Advertisement content is based on information supplied by lenders and on publicly available material. We aim to present it correctly, but we cannot guarantee that it is current or complete, because lenders’ terms may change without notice.

Important: rates, amounts and other terms shown in advertisements are indicative. The exact, personal terms — interest, fees and total cost — are confirmed only by the lender. Read our guide on the annual percentage rate and the credit agreement itself before signing.

3. The chatbot

The chatbot is a search tool that helps you browse advertisements by category. It:

  • shows advertisements in the category you select
  • does not collect personal, income or other financial data
  • does not perform credit assessment, scoring or risk analysis
  • does not give personalised recommendations or financial advice
  • does not take part in preparing or submitting a loan application

The chatbot is not a credit intermediary or advisory service within the meaning of the EU Consumer Credit Directive (2023/2225, “CCD2”), as it does not carry out the activities defined there for remuneration.

4. Revenue and advertising partnerships

Revenue comes from advertising partnerships: lenders or affiliate networks pay for the visibility and performance of their advertisements. This model:

  • costs the user nothing
  • is not based on profiling — we do not personalise the order of ads
  • is transparent: every advertisement is clearly labelled

5. Credit advertising legislation

The site follows chapter 7 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act on marketing consumer credit, and the Interest Act (633/1982):

  • the annual percentage rate and a representative example are shown with the offers
  • advertisements carry the warning “Borrowing money costs money”
  • we do not claim that credit improves your financial situation
  • we do not misleadingly emphasise how easy or fast credit is to obtain

6. Privacy

We do not collect or store users’ personal data. Chatbot conversations are anonymous and are not stored on our server. The site uses SimpleAnalytics, which works without cookies.

When you move to a lender’s site through an advertisement, that lender’s own privacy policy applies.

7. Limitation of liability

Advertisements shown on the site are supplied by lenders. We do not guarantee that their information is accurate, current or complete.

The final credit decision is always made by the lender on the lender’s own site. LuottoBotti takes no part in that decision.

8. Cookies

The site uses functional cookies (language choice) and optional partner tracking cookies. You can manage cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

9. Advertisers

The site displays advertisements from several lenders operating in Finland. Advertisers may change without separate notice.

10. Contact

Questions about the service, ad labelling or content errors: info@luottobotti.fi. We answer on weekdays 9–17 (Finnish time), normally within two working days.

LuottoBotti’s role and responsible borrowing

LuottoBotti is an advertising service, not a financial service. LuottoBotti is not a credit institution and not a financial intermediary: we do not grant credit, we do not process or forward loan applications, and we do not make credit decisions. We do not charge users or lenders a commission on any agreement — the lender is always responsible for its own terms, pricing and decision.

Before applying for credit, assess your ability to repay calmly and, if needed, talk it through with a professional — for example an adviser at your own bank or the free financial and debt counselling service. Borrow only as much as you can repay, and read the credit agreement in full before signing.

Consumer credit in Finland is governed by the Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki) and the Interest Act (korkolaki 633/1982), and is supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
